What we do?

Simple living, safe community

Simple living, safe community

Antti Korppi Student House is more than just a place to stay – it’s a community where international exchange students can feel safe, supported, and connected. We offer a warm and welcoming environment where the focus is on the people and the experiences, not just the facilities.

Our building, while full of character and history, isn’t a luxury hotel, but it provides everything you need for comfortable student living. With private rooms and shared spaces like a sauna, gym, and communal areas, we ensure that your time here is simple, stress-free, and filled with opportunities to connect with fellow students. Conveniently located in Helsinki, our house is your gateway to exploring Finnish culture while being part of a close-knit community.

Why the long name?

We know it’s a bit of a mouthful but there’s a good story behind it. Named after the street address, Antti Korpin tie, which honors the famous Finnish nobleman and royal bailiff Antti Korppi (Anders Korp in Swedish), our name reflects the rich history of this place. Antti Korppi founded the city of Helsinki in June 12, 1550, by the order of King Gustav Vasa, and later served as the bailiff of Helsinki from 1555 to 1562. While we don’t want to make your tongues twist, we do want to pay tribute to our roots.

So, don’t worry about perfect pronunciation – just call it your new home in Helsinki!
