Contract

Can the contract be cancelled?

You can cancel your contract with one month’s notice (Read more here). If the contract is not cancelled within the notice period, we will charge you one month’s rent.

Do you also provide short, fixed-term contracts?

Accommodation is primarily offered to those who stay for at least 5 months, especially during my most popular semester, August to December. However, if we have vacant accommodation, we can make shorter contracts.

I can’t find a housing offer in my email

You will know you have received a contract to sign if you have received an email from info@anttikorppistudenthouse.fi telling you that an offer has been sent to you. If you have used university email, the message may have been rejected for security reasons. If you have used a university email address, please forward your personal email to info@anttikorppistudenthouse.fi. Remember to check your spam!

When will my contract end and how will it be terminated?

An open-ended contract means that it will continue until the tenant terminates the contract. If you have an open-ended contract, you must terminate the lease by sending an email to info@anttikorppistudenthouse.fi. The notice period for termination is one full (1) calendar month for the ongoing agreement. For example, if you give notice on 5 May, your tenancy will expire on 30 June. Why is there no end date in my contract?

Most of our contracts are for an indefinite period, as the moving dates of the tenants can change. This way, the apartment is reserved for them until they have given notice of termination.
