In Finland, it is generally safe to move around alone, even in the evening and at night. Koskela is a quiet area and we have received a lot of positive feedback from our residents about the location and its safety.

Antti Korppi Student House provides all the essential facilities for comfortable student living, but it’s important to remember that we’re not a luxury hotel. Our building is older, which adds to its charm, but it also means there might be some quirks. What we offer is a safe, welcoming environment where you can connect with other students and feel at home. Our focus is on community and simplicity, ensuring you have what you need for a great exchange experience.

The Koskela area is peaceful with a nature-friendly location. Just across the street, you’ll find a local grocery store, Alepa, and nearby are the Arabian and Oulunkylä shopping centers. Excellent hiking trails along Vanhankaupunginlahti and Vantaanjoki rivers and Pikkukoski beach are within walking distance from your doorstep. The neighboring area of Käpylä has beautiful old wooden houses, restaurants and cafés.
