Home maintenance and Practical tips

If something breaks or stops working in your apartment, such as a leaking tap or a light that won’t turn on, the maintenance team is responsible for handling repairs. Moving in

If your room is available, then yes. Just send an email to info@anttikorppistudenthouse.fi and let us know your new preferred move-in date. If you want to move in later than you originally requested and/or signed the contract to start, we can change the move-in date, but unfortunately, we cannot change the billing. If you want to move in earlier, you will be charged an additional daily fee.

You will receive an email with instructions on how to collect your keys a few days before the start date of your tenancy. If you plan to arrive after your contract start date, please inform us in advance at info@anttikorppistudenthouse.fi. This ensures that you receive the key retrieval instructions at the right time. Please note that the deposit must be paid before we can send you instructions on how to collect the keys.

Your keys will be available in a secure safety box and you can pick them up on the start date of your contract at a time that suits you. The safety box is accessible 24/7 for your convenience.

In Finland, many doors are opened by inserting the key into the lock, pushing or pulling the door, and then turning the key. Don’t worry if it feels a bit stiff.

If you want to keep your door open, you can set the lock to stay open using a small switch on the side of the door near the lock. This switch slides up and down.
