Payments

Yes, the security deposit (€595) serves as the final reservation for the apartment and needs to be paid right after receiving the invoice. The security deposit is refunded after your contract has ended and if the conditions in the contract have been met.

You will receive a “Welcome to Antti Korppi Student House” message when we have received your deposit.

All rent invoices will be sent to your email, so keep an eye out for emails from Brang Oy. For international payments, we recommend using the Wise service, as we unfortunately can’t accept cash or debit card payments.

Please make sure to pay the invoice by the due date, which is always the 2nd of the month, and remember to include the reference number so we can link the payment to your account. Interest is only paid 14 days after the invoice is sent, so a few days’ delay in payment is not a problem. If you receive a reminder invoice from Brang Oy, simply pay the updated amount with the new reminder fee. Otherwise, pay according to the original invoice.

You will receive the invoice for the security deposit to your email address after you have signed the contract. Just look for an email coming from a sender called Brang. The invoice can be paid with a bank transfer as we, unfortunately, can’t accept cash or debit card payments. We recommend using a service called Wise for all international payments.

Make sure you fill in the reference number for the payment so that we can connect the payment to your account.

When you receive your deposit invoice, you will notice that the due date is the same day, as the deposit will reserve your home. Interest on the security deposit is only paid 14 days after the invoice is sent, so a few days’ delay in payment is not a problem. This approach ensures that apartments are not booked unnecessarily and that as many applicants as possible have the opportunity to receive an offer in time for possible cancellations. Please note that without a deposit we cannot send out key application instructions. If the deposit is still outstanding one week after signing the contract and the tenant has not contacted us about the payment schedule, we reserve the right to offer the apartment to the next applicant.
